It's weird that people fell for this stuff. Because of this, many diseases have happened that wouldn't have if the parents let their children be vaccinated.

Yeah, when I was teaching freshman English classes at a university in Ohio, students would always try to argue that the link existed (and want to write papers about it). Inevitably, as soon as they began doing real research, they would find that it was all BS. I don't understand how nonsense like that gets spread around.
